Chetek
Chetek itself is a small city of about 2,000 year around residents. However, Chetek generally refers to the entire area of the Chetek Chain of Six Lakes - Chetek Lake, Prairie Lake, Pokegama Lake, Ojaski Lake, Ten Mile Lake, and Moose Ear Lake.
These lakes cover some 3,800 surface acres with over 120 miles of shoreline, dotted with islands and bays. The entire area has a population estimated at around 7,000 year around residents -
a total that swells to over 40,000
in the summer!
This is a prime recreational area and hosts fishing, skiing, canoing and just about anything else you can do in the water! The area boasts an active Hydroflites Water Ski Team
